Oddly enough, it was painting the fences with my family around age 15. I was raised a rich STEMfag and always hated all the studying, and additionally my parents usually weren't the types to treat us. However, the spring weather was perfect, warm with a nice gentle breeze, and my dad bought a ton of beer and fancy soda to drink while we worked. Then as we finished, my mom ordered pizza and we rented the Doom movie from Redbox (hey it wasn't that bad) and my dad gave me some of his fancy tequila. I felt accomplished, physically worked but energized, and a rare occasion of physical, primal pleasure via a constant caffeine/alcohol buzz. I'm still STEMfagging it up to this day (PhD student), but if I ever give it up, I think I'd like to try being a professional fence painter or yard man or pool cleaner or similar. I can understand how Paco can work so happily while Joe Wageslave is miserable despite working indoors and making more money.
