>>6004913Never suggested SSRIs, they can be helpful for a few chronic cases but at that point you might as well do ECT, it's quicker and at least you know what you're signing up for. Also SSRIs shouldn't even be a part of the conversation when discussing panic disorder, typically the only reason, at least in the states that SSRIs would be suggested in place of extremely controlled benzodbiazepines would be because of lack of insurance, and most psychiatrists that work with low income, noninsurance clients work through government facilities or get tax writeoffs that make it impossibke to prescribe any kind of narcotic.
OP would be best off learning on their own to spot symptoms of a panic attack prior to total onset and learning to control the symptoms bit by bit, until that in combination with time culminate in being healthier naturally. My only reasons to oppose the previously suggested DMT were stated earlier, but also worrying that if OP can't get ahold of DMT they may decide to try to self medicate with more insidious drugs that can cause an addiction in the long run, with no supervision whatsoever.
>>6004915I highly doubt that was supervised and that would also count as self medicating, which I am suggesting against.
>>6004914Now OP is being suggested to consume illegal drugs and also grow and manufacture them instead of dealing with it naturally, if capable.
>>6004916That's good, I'm glad to hear it. If you keep working on identifying what can bring on an episode, you can beat this without drugs of any sort, but you will have to gradually reintroduce stimuli that will cause panic. If you don't, you're just letting this issue control you, regardless how much you care about other mitigating factors. You've already pinpointed some actions you can take prior to situations that reduce your negative reactions, which is a good start. I wish you the best of luck, goodnight.
