However, le 56% was a convenient heartstring to tie the meme together, with the idea being that the average American is only 56% white. There is no difference, because you're either white or you're not. 250 years is not enough for a country to develop it's own genetic patterns. Make peace with the fact that you are, in fact, a mutt.
