I just wanted to suggest the possibility that if you ever decide for yourself, on your own terms, that you want to make a difference in your life that it is possible.
But that is the key part of this. It has to be your choice, your desire. It's the same for people who quit smoking where unless they themselves truly want to quit it'll never happen. Everyone and their mother can be yelling at you to stop but it won't work until you do it for yourself.
If you aren't at that stage yet where you feel that you can go forward with trying to change your life, then don't force yourself too just because outside sources tell you that you should be more. Because if you do you'll more likely than not fail and spiral down further.
Hopefully the motivation will won day come to you. Mine came in the form of a lady referring to me as 'cart boy' at walmart. That same day I applied to the hair school in town.
