Q is a foreign psyop originally aimed at 4chan to extend/test influence. They want to see if they can achieve the same kind of confusion and division as they did during the election, (which was basically nothing more than throwing a brick in a washing machine to see what happens). They were basically larping for the hell of it, just to see what would happen.
Q is the next stage of evolution. Instead of just being the faceless voice moving among a crowd that shouts the occasional slogan, they are now trying to see if they are capable of creating a following organically for themselves, instead of hijacking others. And its obviously worked.
It will continue for another year, maybe even up to next presidential election if they can keep the breadcrumbs going long enough, a bit like a pedo grooming its prey. Then, when enough have fallen under the spell, and the atmosphere is nicely charged (why I'm thinking they're going to build to next election), Q will suddenly turn nasty, and go from leaking info to starting to demand action. I can't see it happening personally, but those behind Qs strings think there may just be a chance to get the only person who can kick the USA's ass into the ring, the USA itself. Long story short, they decided to finally put all the 'civil war naow!' talk on 4chan to the test, and see if they can build it up to actual action from normies. Q is literally the Pied Piper.
Best of it is, I doubt its Russia, China or even the joos. (Russia did its shilling for Trump for sure, but no more than they/we do any other time and place), this time its a much more sinister origin.
The EU, specifically SIS and BND, are looking to give the US some payback for the refugees they blame on us. The EU thinks the refugee crisis is Americas attack on the EU to try and stop them from becoming a rival superpower, and since Trump put his foot behind the door to refugees, the BND came up with Q as a retaliation. Its an extension of the dossier in many ways.
