Something just seems extremely fishy about this for example how quickly it rose up out of nowhere and the fact they decided to make it free. desu it just seems like one big CIA op geared for gen z to make them excited for military service.

It pretty depends on your ability to identify with game characters. I can't do it, I can't feel that immersed to think of characters as my self inserts. I pick characters by looks if they all play alike.
