I think the way they talk sounds stupid, which adds to it, but that's something they can't really help. (like, umm, seriously, literally THE worrrrst, yeaahhhh) But indeed the things they say tend to be the biggest factor in them coming across as stupid.
Of course not all Americans come across as stupid, but dear God, so many of them do.

why do spanish speakers talk a thousand words a minute? Or is it just my ears tricking me since I don't know spanish, cuz it sounds like it's being spoken way faster than english is spoken.

Of course, dumb people are everywhere. However, my point is that for some reason, be it bias or something else, Americans seem to be more stupid/obnoxious in general than people from other countries and I would like to have a discussion about that to find out other people's experiences and opinions of Americans themselves.

from my own experience in America the accents and mannerisms Americans are actually quite nice I live in the south and in my small town the door is held open for you and the southern accent where I am from is quite charming as it stems from the British accent of old. Although I not to knowledgeable of the west coast the east coast of the U.S is a very nice place besides Florida

That cultural difference definitely plays a part and you're right, I do not like that. There have been a few instances in which a group of Americans was just needlessly yelling in an otherwise calm environment and I just find it hard to imagine not noticing you're acting inappropriate as the other people present are much quieter.
