I also think that it is unethical to forcibly remove half of the skin off of someone's penis without getting their consent, as was done to me.
Female circumcision has been outlawed in the US since 1996. Even a ritual pinprick that removes no tissue will get you sent to prison. The equivalent to male circumcision would be a complete removal of the clitoral hood, and some or all of the labia.
There are varying levels of severity of male circumcision, just like female circumcision. I was not left with enough skin to masturbate without lube before I restored, just like many others. I have a friend that was cut so tightly that he would bleed when he started getting erections as puberty started.
