You can die if you take a lot. It can also cause very erratic behaviour which might lead to death. If you're not used to it you'll probably just fall asleep. No-one kills themselves on just benzo and booze, that's stupid. To die you mix an opiate, benzos and booze.

I did this by accident and ended up having legit paranoid delusions that my friends were conspiring against me. Came really close to offing myself.

Thing that got me is that lorazepam has like a two or three day half life in your system. So if you take it regularly it’ll build up in your system. Then you go a day without it, think you’re fine to drink and... suddenly you’re having a mental breakdown.
