>>620518In all honestly, if you watch tv, you more than likely watch the BBC, which is what the tv licence funds. It's one of the most recognized and reputable in the world, not just here. I'm at least glad the government isn't funding it as seen elsewhere. Rather that money goes to something more beneficial. But if you're like me and don't want to watch regular tv but something in the form of netflix for example, you don't need a licence.
At the very least, we have many more benefits than American. That, I am thankful for.
