Now as an adult I play Dagorhir/Belegarth (depending on your region), EMP (the empire of medieval pursuits) and SCA (The Society for Creative Anachronism) which are all medieval combat games ranging from full contact boffer to live steel and rattan not to be confused with LARP (no contact, all sheets and full autism) or Amtgard (classes, magic and minimal contact). I've been a medieval combat fighter for about 10 years off and on. It's really fun but definitely not for the feint of heart or the non-athletic.
