>>6203004Resolve is kind of hit and miss. With the exception of RAM usage, it has arguably the best hardware optimization on the market. Seriously, don't even bother editing 4K ProRes footage without 128GB of RAM. Even with a proxy workflow, you'll easily run out on 64GB.
It's color features are amazing and the NLE timeline is simple to use, but Fusion is non-intuitive and most of its useful features are unavailable in free version. Fairlight is pretty much useless.
Resolve as an editing suite is probably going keep to get better, so getting an early start is definitely worth it. But right now, it's far from a positive work experience.
