Why Australia? Why now, whats Dadio up to, Fleeing financial crime, midlife crisis, is there a milkbar in rural Australia that needs its Greek owner who lives above the store? Why do you speak the Queen's English? I don't know how much influence you have but from my experience I would suggest the only two cities that matter (Syd/Melb). There the biggest for a reason.

Australia because it's currently the less shitty continent on the planet, in terms of politics and civilization. I'm 20 and looking to run far away from the shithole that is Greece while I still can. I have a Swiss and a South African citizenship, and I plan on using them over the filthy Greek one. I'm choosing now because the political situation between Greece and Turkey is reaching a climax, and I'm not very fond of bukakkes, at least not when I'm on the receiving end. I taught English to myself through sheer force of vidya addiction. I'm not very financially stable yet, and Sydney and Melbourne sound too expensive and soul-sucking for my liking.

Honestly m8 its not that bad. Employment is not as much of a shitshow in Aus post GFC, theres cushy backpacker jobs to be had and bar work to do, but its hard coming from outside the country. Why Syd and Melb may be expensive its where the opportunity is and its where people flock to make there way. If your going less major make sure you have a plan and employment sorted because it could be rougher. Also 'small town' can be equally soul sucking with limited stimulation, infrastructure and being car reliant and generaly a socially isolated dull shithole unless your a chill surfy. A more prepared man would travel the country first to find a place to land and hopefully clear any rose coloured glasses. Your English is perfect, if you can type like a local or better yet an educated person you can certainly speak it like one.

I don't plan to be out of the house for more than the absolutely necessary to be honest.

My accent may need some work, but I have a very good understanding of the language.
And I do plan to move around bit until I settle.
I've been a lowkey nomad all my life so no problems there.
