It is classic gaslighting behavior, where the implication is that you are somehow deficient because you feel anger at them or sympathy for their victims. But they can't really go all out and attack you openly, so they put on a false smile and say things like: "it's okay that you're a VIRGIN, and that is why you are upset." or "I get that you're upset, being a VIRGIN and all, but hey man, there's no reason to be mad"
Whether or not you are a virgin is irrelevant, because they are just trying to make the smear stick (not that virginity is even a bad thing at all). They'll even dress it up by saying "hey, there's nothing wrong with being a VIRGIN" so they seem like they are being nice, when actually by their tone and their implication everyone knows they are really saying
"look at this fucking nerd freak, he's such a fucking loser."
They are hurting because when normal people express emotions it highlights how they themselves are degenerates and sociopaths and so they lash out with all kinds of bullshit. Sometimes they lash out with disgusting insults "I bet you want to drink the CUM out of her pussy!" and sometimes they use this glad-hand, pat you on the back while they are knifing you in the gut bullshit.
