Why is the internet so soulless now? When it we lose all sense of wonder and inventiveness on exploring the world wide web? Every website is cookie cutter hipster trendy designs, most people frequent the same 4 major site hubs, and discussion has been muddled with too much irony and sjw overtones. Not saying the internet of yesterday was great or perfect but there was a genuine attempt to converse and contrinute to the small communities you joined. I know there are many younger people who grew up well into web 2.0 and don't care what I have to say which is fine. But coming up before the .com bubble burst the internet held more uniqueness than it does now. Have we lost our way?
