Remember when doing a headlock, wrap your free hand around the wrist of the arm that's wrapped around her neck and pull up and lean back while squeezing her head against your body. Pull your shoulders back, but try to keep your lower back neutral while squeezing your shoulder blades moderately. That'll keep you from hurting yourself and give you a better headlock.
