He's got some clever ideas, but it's limited by how he reduces language to just a set of semantic structures and rules in the brain. To me, his idea that meaning and information in a sentence is understood solely from analysing the function of the words in relation to each other within the sentence (while casually ignoring the naturally occurring inflections, tone changes and pauses in all spoken language) means that his system is just analysing language in a textual context and not as a universal, organically evolved psychological concept. It's been a while since I read about this though so I might have missed something.
