they have special seats on the government which only maoris can have (they are also allowed to run for any other position, thee seats are just a bonus)
half our national anthem is in maori
maori is taught in pretty much all public schools and will soon be compulsory
we bring them out and let them do their haka and little dances at literally every public event
they have their own special electoral roll which only maoris are allowed to vote on
