Sup /b/, I recently did a field study
Randomly selected kids from a semi anonymous(about 40 people, about half of which knew each other beforehand) discord to take small google survey
They had a prerequisite of "actively use reddit, tumblr, or 4chan" and "posts/makes/likes memes"
>Of the 20 kids, 3 of them knew of it's history and past, with 1 having heard some of it's reputation in the past
>8 of them didn't know what /b/ was, and 8 of them didn't know more than it was a board on 4chan
>1 of the people who used reddit still knew a lot about 4chan's role in the old internet
>None of the tumblr users
