As for how I feel about it, well, it's complicated. The markets have changed to the point where public domain works make less sense. My main issue is the restrictions of copyrighted work for consumers and creators. For example, "Fair Use" (and to some degree it's Article 5 counterpart) needs to be better defined and considered part of copyright law rather than a legal defense.
