diced pumpkin (3-5 lb punkin)
2 cloves diced garlic
1 diced onion
1 diced red pepper
veggie broth
a few drops of lemon juice (to brighten flavors)
^boiled, pureed
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup heavy cream (when taken off heat)
brown sugar+cinnamon+nutmeg+salt+pepper+parsley (before toppings, taste to balance)
1/2~ish cup dried cranberries (after cooking)
1 can cooked collard greens/kale (topping after cooking)
...some... coconut shavings (topping after cooking)

gimme your thoughts on this recipe I've been theorycrafting. I saw some pumpkin soup recipes and thought that this all would go well together. I even went through the trouble of talking to my mom about it but lo and behold she doesn't like pumpkin.

not sure about different amounts as I don't tend to cook large batches, but this would be for thanksgiving.
