Every board has been overran with this recently, and many posts are “how do I tell if I/someone else is an NPC” or something along the lines of that. Here’s an easy way to figure that out
>can the person in question have “radical ideas”
No, not Timothy McViegh radical. But outside the social norm of acceptance.
>is the person in question capable of complex thought or inner dialogue
While harder to tell with another person, you can with yourself. This isn’t just thinking but also “playing” devils advocate for another side of a decision or weighing out pros and cons of both
>when confronted with information can the person in question accept change or facts
Self explanatory
>can the person in question hold a debate without giving the same spooon fed lines of their side every other person has
Redundant “Trump is a Nazi” or “maga” it goes both ways. Similar to the dialogue of a NPC in a video game if you talk to them more than once.
Keep the following in mind. NPCs only seek to be “normal” they adapt to whatever the norm is. Be it racial pride or guilt, or anything in between. Now that this has come out into the open it will become normalized, that’s already shown with the popularity of this meme.
