The Quorus Project is an attempt at the anonymous group construction of a decentralised "Outer Heaven" to consolidate information, media, memes, infodumps, arguments, redpills, blackpills, white pills, tools and all the resources and assets you can think of alongside a suite of encrypted group workspaces and comunication tools for project collaboration, socialising, shitposting and brainstorming without the time-limit imposed by the chan boards. ie, no 404'ing, no pruning, no deletion of content automatically.

Everything said and done can be used as the foundation for something else, refine, test, refine, test, deploy, share, refine ect, no need to wander through the archive.

I'll use Alex Jones and Inforwars as an example. To be clear, I am firmly in the Alex Jones is a moron camp, not because "everything" he says is a lie, but because enough of the shit he has approved of or stood by is either completley false or based on outdated beliefs (ie we only use 10% of our brain, so buy my supplements pleb) that I find it an excersize in futility and patience to sort out what's true and what's not.

That being said, the coordinated censorship of Infowars and Alex Jones on essentially every major social media platform, not because of something new and revelatory that he did to warrant censorship, but because the "illiberal liberals" saw a chance to play off the current political climate to see if they could get away with censoring someone vehemently against them (the first domino before the rest start falling) is alarming to anyone who knows the precedent that this sets.

The majority of the Western public has been harbouring the collective delusion for years that the "private platforms" that have more or less replaced any meaningful "public platforms" or decentralised lines of communication we ever had access to would continue to operate in accordance with the "unbending" desire to maintain freedom of speech that they were supposedly built on.

People are not just bending. Many have bent already, genuinely believing that actual free speech is bad (ie violent free speech and wrong think). That weakness, ironically, built on years of coddling and western privelages is now up for disassembly. But the malevolence behind this is hidden under the guise of empathy and concern.

Is this possible? As in can you constantly refresh a torrent magnet so that new content is added to it? Ive never seen it done before, and if it's not possible, then I need to find another way for people to upload, download, send and receive files via P2P in a way that is organised. I can auto backup old versions to somewhere like MEGA, but P2P would be better.

Telegram and Discord are out. WhatsApp is encrypted end to end, and it's been around long enough for security loopholes to have been tightened. I might have the skillset, but not the time. Sorry OP. This is a heavy endeavour.
One idea I'd like to push is a Bitmessage-like protocol that instead of using PoW-per-post, uses PoW-per-identity - and make it heavily expensive. Ideally, the PoW required should be settable on a per-chan basis. Shitposting on a /b/-like chan can be low PoW. Posting on a more privileged chan, very high PoW. In this respect, as Identities are expensive to generate - they can be filtered much easier.

The problem with P2P is that it reveals too much data, you don't have to host a .onion on a central server either, you could do multiple VPS that each host a certain part of the site or host mirrors/backups.

Think nesting over decentralizing, and in addition, allowing phone posters allows your site to be shown off in public and viewed inadvertently by dumb normies. Personally I'd ban laptops too but that's not feasible.

Ease of use is important to get more people in. Once they're in, whether they are useful of not is whether people share with them or not
