There may be some kind of neurological network in the brain that exists in 2 forms, with 1 for each sex. The genes that encode the creation of this network in your brain may not even be on the sex chromosomes, so if a mutation occurred by chance that made the genes that encode the wrong form of network be activated rather than the ones that are meant to, you'd still become a boy but think you're a girl, or vice versa. But nobody really knows if that could cause other behavioural conditions. It's entirely possible that it could cause them to be prone to other mental disorders, like anxiety and depression, or even psychopathy or machiavellianism.
