but the first season of higurashi is breddy neat
the second is good too but a little less than first
it's a supernatural murder mystery type thing

Uhh a lot of good anime has already been suggested,but Grisaia is a pretty good suspense/thriller anime,and some horror elements in the second season(Won't spoil it for you) or was it late first season?I kinda forgot...
Of course Gakkou Gurashi is great too and I guess Evangelion and Monster are always classics
