so i like candles and stuff but they fuck with my fire alarm
i decided i'd unscrew the firealarm to stop it from beeping, but its hard-wired
so i took the battery out but accidently broke the latch
now its chirping constantly and i can't tape the battery in without the alarm screeching at me
