>>6458393I agree in that regard, the quota that was given to us by the EU did not exceed 9000 asylum seekers per year, this was most probably not just a guess number, they probably examined the systems in place, and found that 9000 was an appropriate number to keep it at a sustainable level, but the red-greens just had to fuck everything up and take in 14 times the quota because they were afraid of getting called racist.
and after being through the migration process personally, i'm ashamed at how shit it was, over 80% of people who claimed they were Syrian were actually Afghans, Somalis, Egyptian or Algerian, and virtually no proof is needed for a permanent residence permit, of course we had Syrian passports, IDs, proof of occupation, a family book and property contracts, so we had no problem, but it's just baffling to me how lax it was for other people, who were so obviously not Syrian...
