I am cooking a large potato.
I have placed it in a large pot of boiling water.

One time I tried to warm up a already hard boiled egg in my microwave and then took a bite of it and it exploded and got hot egg all over my mouth. It was not a pleasant experience

one time i tried to cook an egg in the microwave. seemed to be going great until i took it out and touched the yolk with a fork. the fucker exploded and covered me, the kitchen, and the ceiling with egg shrapnel. the sound of it exploding was so loud that my ears were ringing. I legit stood there frozen for at least 15 seconds before i could even process what the fuck just happened. it was the most unexpected thing that has ever happened to me.

update ●
I checked on the sweet potato.
I removed the lid of the pot.
I stuck a fork in it and it slid in fairly easily though not an easily as I had wanted.
Either way I acted impatiently and removed it.
The sides were well cooked but the thiccer section in the middle still seemed tough so I put it back in the water.
I am currently eating the cooked sections.
They taste alright though abit bland.
I should go put some salt on them.

I returned to the kitchen after eating about half of what was on my plate.
I removed the remaining two pieces which were in the pot and seemed mostly cooked.
I cut up the pieces into large bite sized portions and added salt on them aswell as onion powder on one or two pieces.

Overall I can't say I enjoyed the dish that much but it was filling and somewhat nutritious so that will do.
Next time I will cook it longer and maybe add a light coating of butter and some pepper to go with the salt.
