I had a dream once. I wanted to be an Astronaut so bad. I wanted to be the first to travel to Mars. To be one of the greats. I did the best I could in school, had A's in every class, then came Junior year of highschool. That year I realized I never had any friends. I indulged myself so much into working hard and studying that I grew past my peers in intelligence and maturity. It sent me into a deep depression and anger rage. I finished school early because of great test scores and I was about to sign up for piloting classes. But I snapped and just gave up. Got a job at a gas station and haven't done anything since. I still fantasize about becoming one. Find it amazing that we've landed probes on Mars and Venus. Find it unbelievable that the Voyager 1 probe left the solar system and reached interstellar space. But eh. Sorry for long paragraph.
