You know how some long hentai manga have a comfy bit on the start before all the sex happens and it is all innocent and it is just setting up the situation? Do you ever wish that the sex never happens because it kills the mood, and just have the thing just go on like a jazz piece even though there isn’t much of a special concept or story? I don’t know, I just feel kind of attached to the mundane situation of someone’s cousin coming over to stay - a manga about absolutely nothing seems kind of comfy. I think a mangaka should start writing a hentai manga and stop just before anything sexual happens, and just continue with a normal manga without developing any storyline just about what happens after and after etc. A string of events just linked together by cause and events. I would read that, the start of hentai mangas just have that special mundane feel that is so comfy that normal slice of life mangas don’t have; maybe it would feel more realistic, because with the main plot point of sex removed, it would feel like the aimless wandering of life. Idk.
