The NPC theory of people with no inner monologue is probably not true since psychological experiments have a tendency to not be reproducible, thus psychology isn't supported by scientific method which means learning the subject itself is a bunch of crap since it was built upon experiments and are taught to you in textbooks which aren't supported by the scientific method. How can you believe the NPC theory if it's from a subject like this?
