>>6522895The 3rd article is very long, but very interesting.
I don't really make that NPC/PC separation has radical as you do.
On the 1st article, the 5th "most-frequently-occurring features of pristine experience" the author talks about is unsymbolized thinking.
Perhaps it's not that NPC are that different, its just that they process information differently, as in, their own way of processing the sensorial input and making sense of it is different from those that use other methods. And from the first article, it seems to me that splitting the "classes" into PC/NPC is perhaps a error of interpretation, after all, there are 5 categories of "most-frequently-occurring features of pristine experience", and although he says that some people NEVER experience inner-dialogue, perhaps some people NEVER experience inner-sight, or they NEVER experience unsymbolized thinking. Who is to say which one is superior? And also, he makes no correlations with any character trait what so ever.
Still, you make some accurate behavioral analyses on what regards social dynamics, especially game wise, but I think you're making everything into a nail due to you liking so much your NPC meme hammer.
Also another thing, you seem to imply that what you call a PC does not suffer from what we might call "the mere appearance of free-will". I don't know for sure if that is what you mean or not, but if it is, I disagree, I think we all fall into that "mere appearance of free-will" way of working, but in some regards, some people have a tendency to be able to take a peek behind the curtain and impose will power in order to force themselves to act differently. But then, who is to say that such "willing" decision to use one's will power to force behavior change is not a result of the "mere appearance of free-will" itself?
Like you said, reality is made up of paradoxes.
Basically, God seems like a masterful troll, to be honest :DDDDDDD
