I honestly think it started in the late 80s, early 90s. Starting from the 00s especially is when people started to lose that "decade defining" look. Shit especially now is either so plain, or made really ugly.
So of course, where do the elites come into play with this. What does our style of fashion say about us as a society? Also, what's your favorite decade for fashion?
For me it would be the 60s. I know it's when the decline into degeneracy started, but I think the 60s had just the right balance of cute, sultry, and modest. Man I wish this style was brought back.
