Back during my broke NEET days I managed to crack the wifi of an auto shop across the street like at least 40m away from me. I had a cantenna like this I would leave on my apartment balcony to focus the signal that would have been too far otherwise. On a good day I could watch a 360p Youtube video, and fortunately 4chan wasn't as bulky then as it is now.
