Much more likely it is/was roleplay 4chan troll. But I think it got started or was hijacked quickly after its start (like happened to Wikileaks, they eventually "lost" the fight against intel agencies, or in prison terms, joined the Aryan Brotherhood to be someones bitch, so they wouldnt get it up the pooper in the shower).
