I live in a small beach community south of LA and people flock to the beach during the 4th of July for the fireworks, no parking anywhere, drunk vatos coming from the East who think they own the place and shit up the nice white area, next day, trash fucking everywhere. I don't even go, though it's just down the block, just get drunk at home.
