what really wore on me was the crowds, the traffic jams, the dumb tourists gaping around everywhere. the fact that you can hear 50 different languages within 50 minutes of walking, etc. oh and it was really annoying how all the vendors in ny were foreigners. buying a statue of liberty magnet from an indian who can barely speak english, get outta here.
but yeah, niagara was cool as hell and i was also impressed by all the cool buildings in new england and canada. those cities looked downright western european. the touristy parts, of course. i'm sure outside of them it was different.
and those red brick buildings are aesthetic af.
