That feel when my new college friends invited me to study and then go eat pizza at Little Ceasars this Friday after class. Is this a thing normal people usually do? I don't usually eat with people, it's going to be awkward

Dude it's completely and utterly normal. If you start to do this regularly (which you totally should) savor it and don't take it for granted. I long for the days when I could simply call up my friends and hang out in a group without issue.
