All those NPC memes made me think: it is possible to not have an inner monologue? How someone can.. ehmm.. think without it?
Theres anyone in this board who don't have an inner monologue to explain how it feels?

Yes. Psych here, it does exist a rare illness with that symptom. I do not remember the name, but it was characterized by a complete absence of inner dialogues as well as inner "mental images". It is a tough condition and people do notice it quite easily though.

Not in any way similar to the NPC meme, which has more to do with depersonalization. Mostly from the authors part.
