Any welders out there?
I am currently a teacher and honestly a little tired of working a job surrounded by middle aged women. I love my country so I love teaching history but I want to learn a skill or trade that can really pay.
Ive thought about underwater welding but it seems like a meme job that is extremely difficult to break into and I dont have 10 years to kill
Is it possible to teach yourself how to weld on the side through youtube, tech ed classes? I would have loved to have gone to a tech school but that could be 2 years, debt and no real income in the meantim. i do get summers off though which gives me a solid 2 months to fuck around with. this would be more of a long term plan that could take a few years.
