>>668162well it's so white overall here that people lose their shit about immigration if there's one nonwhite family in town and a second one moves in. the twin cities has a lot more american blacks than greater minnesota, which is something like 95% white. twin cities are still pretty white but look like other major cities like milwaukee etc. but in some of the medium-sized cities like mankato, where the churches set up programs to bring refugees over, there are a lot of somalis. but they are still a minority unless you live in low-rent apartments, then it seems like there's tons of them because most of them live in section 8 housing.
