it's less weird when you focus on the whole rather than the parts
i don't leave the house/neighborhood enough to answer your question. every time i visit places i used to know the buildings and businesses are all changed. i can only communicate with around half of the people here because of the language barrier so my options for a lot of things are limited.
the "atmosphere" is nice. i don't think i'd want to be anywhere else unless something drastically changed for the worse.
