The fishe acts as a way of looking into the most carnal desires of man, and that is why he is represented by a beast instead of a man. He can move like a man can, he eats like a man does, and he can procreate like men do, but he does not think like a man, and so, he is represented by a lesser creature.
Okay, back to the point. The fishe does not choose to rape, we choose for him to. He actually prefers the company of his own kind rather than that of human women, and that is why when whenever he is with female woman he has a dumb look on his face. He does not know why he does rape, but he sure as hell does enjoy it. In that sense, I suppose the fishe also represents the paradoxical existence of man. We are a species that has been gifted with intelligence, but it is that intelligence that leads us to spite our own existence. Why would a creature that understands that all life brings is suffering procreate,bringing others to suffer with him? He does not know, because deep down inside, we are all just fishe.
