>>672125If you're happy then that's alright. But most people have needs and dreams beyond sitting at home on 4chan all day long.
It's also kind of impossible to get a girlfriend or friends as a NEET, and considering that healthy people need social interaction it's sort of a dealbreaker.
Lastly you're essentially locking in your future.
A wagie can always become a NEET, but a NEET cannot become a wagie quite as easily. Once you get past age 30 or so your total lack of work experience/history or skills will force you to be a NEET further. Which leads to two big problems:
1) Government decides to cut neetbux entirely or partially. Now you're at the will of the current ruling party.
2) Your needs change at 42 years old and you realise you've watched all the anime you like, you want to explore the world or take up a costly hobby. Woops no money, no experience, only choice is petty crime or McDonalds.
Id imagine some of thoze 45 year old balding "men" we see working at grocery stores pushing carts/stocking shelves were ex-NEETs.
The only viable way to be a NEET imo is to be one of those early retirement guys who work hard to save/invest money for 20 years then retire and party all day off dividends.
