>>6723020Well yeah, kind of.
Why do you call supporters of the political left npc?
Because they get their news from mainstream sources? Because their beliefs emulate those that are expressed by celebrity figures?
How is any of that really different to how your average /pol/ user conducts themselves? They get their news from /pol/ and alternative sources and share political views expressed by all the usual alt right figureheads.
Same shit, different toilet. Obviously, none of this in either case is quite as black and white as that though.
What I find most ridiculous though is how proud /pol/ has become over this meme whilst being completely and utterly oblivious to the massive irony that exists when pushing this meme en masse.
I’m not saying the meme doesn’t make a point, just that it’s a bit hypocritical. When the meme is countered with other npc memes featuring right wing npc content, it’s also making a very good point but again, a hypocritical one.
I just find it very arrogant when you have a bunch of like minded people who all express their political views in the echo chamber of their choice, that criticise another group of like minded people that express their political views in an echo chanber of their choice, not for the actual views specifically, but for how they were formed.
/pol/ can be so full of shit sometimes. Get over yourselves, you aren’t any special.
