Also, I kind of understand what you said about Singaporeans not being nice. I'm used to greeting people by saying something like "Hi, how are you?" and having them respond "Good, you?", yada yada, but in Singapore when I asked someone a question like that I'd just get weird looks. I figured it was because I was foreign, but maybe that's just normal?
