and the no killing rule was started back in the 40s or 50s with the comics code in america that banned comic book heroes from killing. good writers made it part of the identity of some heroes. i don't think they explore it in daredevil though.
eh, i don't care either way, seems pretty irrelevant if the heroes actually kill anyone
