Ex-vegan here. If it works for you, that's great. It didn't work for me. While I definitely lived for many years plant-based, I didn't thrive on it. These days I eat a fat-based diet egg & bacon for all breakfasts and the difference on my life is staggering, I'm happier, I do better at work, I'm more outgoing and positive. I have gained more than thirty pounds, but the sad fact is that it's worth it.
