However, if you DO want to improve things:
Can you make a separate board for Trump? I suppose I should have suggested this a long time ago when I first recognized what was happening, because the culture of /pol/ has changed dramatically with the alt-right newfags who came in from various sites (distinct from NatSoc, who were chill) and the /r/The_Donald civic nationalists, both who came here to try to use /pol/ as a platform for their movements, with Trump at the center of them (in their minds). I have no issue with either of their ideologies being here, but neither of these swarms assimilated to the CULTURE of the board, and it changed the culture of the board to the point of unrecognizability. I feel like Moot would have recognized this development and came up with some solution, or just banned the movements outright like he did with Chanology and GamerGate. /pol/ may already be well beyond saving but I think it merits one last Hail Mary shot to try to salvage the old spirit of the board for old times sake, which was edgy but a lot more laid back, not super serious as it has become, calling for personal armies or the alt right trying to drive away other "cucked" ideologies or /r/The_Donald not tolerating any "stormfag" views because "what if the normies came here and saw this" as though this place should be a clean face for some movement instead of a place to have interesting political discussion and talk about taboo stuff in a fun and laid back way.
I don't know what the solution/s is/are, but there's gotta be something you can do. Let me know your thoughts.
