Amongst the travels I´ve had the fortune to enjoy, nothing beats arriving on a 747 at New Jersey.
It is something I cannot explain, that instant I saw in an early 2000s display the coast of America, then outside of the window the lights of a thousand neighborhoods... The huge flags on the airport halls, hundreds of returning people proceeding in rows, the parking lots busy with tons of busses and taxis.
For about 20 minutes or so, I had some sort of fire burnig inside,and my eyes dried from not blinking. It was the kind of awe you can only feel only as a kid.
What is it, you Murican anons, that make your country so incredible? Nothing I´ve experienced in Europe barely compares.
